According to the company’s official website www.reebok.com, there are several elements that you have to be familiar with to become a Jukari gym instructor.  This includes Jukari Fit to Fly elements such as the FlySet™;  the Jukari unique movements, exercises, choreography designed & developed by Reebok and Cirque du Soleil™; the Jukari music and environment; community, creativity, and inspirational elements; attending the Jukari Instructor Training workshops; getting Jukari class choreography “updates”; and even the company’s marketing support.

The sports brand company that revolutionized fitness routines with its “Step Reebok” in 1989 wants their Jukari Fit to Fly gym instructors to those who can easily establish relationships with members, someone who projects an image of style and fitness and has the reputation of being able to motivate others, innovative and fun. Also, Reebok.com is looking for someone who leads not just by mere words but by actual demonstration and could teach variety of classes that include choreography-based classes. Being able to comprehend the English language is also needed.

Moreover, Reebok is requiring their Jukari gym instructors to have an education in Exercise Science and Certification by a recognized governing body and to attend their two-day Jukari Fit to Fly training workshops for instructors.

The cost involved in attending a two-day Jukari Fit to Fly training workshop for each instructor is pegged at $695 USD. It covers already the preparation and introduction of the training; use of equipment; Infusion of Cirque du Soleil Experience; Terminology of Moves; Use of Music; Basic Exercises, Modifications & Progressions; Testing and Performance; and Class structure and outcomes.

Each instructor is given a significant amount of content, movements, exercises and choreography in a Jukari Fit to Fly training workshop. It is geared towards helping future Jukari gym instructors in guiding their routine trainees to execute the proper movements and progressions. They are also given Jukari Fit to Fly photos and video supports as their references.

Furthermore, Reebok and Cirque du Soleil^™ encourage instructors to use their creativity and knowledge to support the solid base of knowledge acquired at a training workshop.  From there, every six months, Reebok and Cirque du Soleil^™ provide updated content, material, movements, progressions, and music to help infuse new challenges and creativity into the class and for the instructor.
