Swing out those Pounds with Jukari’s Signature Moves

Reebok and Cirque du Soleil created “signature” moves that both claim to strengthen arms, legs and core muscles more effectively than many other workout classes while having playground fun all around your gym.

The idea behind the Jukari Fit to Fly movements is to use a a FlySet contraption which includes a 4lb weighted trapeze-designed bar attached to your gym’s ceiling. This bar has a series of loops which you can use to attach your arms and legs as you stretch, push, climb and swing yourself to fitness.

Most of Jukari’s signature moves are trapeze-like which involves swinging around and being suspended on air defying gravity. It is the reverse way of getting fit when compared to other gym workouts as with Jukari Fit to Fly you work with an equipment called a FlySet which hangs from the gym’s ceiling and not attached to its floor. Still, Louise Sutton, head of the Carnegie Centre for Sports Performance and Wellbeing at Leeds Metropolitan University, explained that being suspended on air can actually help you relieve tension in different parts of your body. She added that a person’s core muscles “tend to work extra-hard just to keep you in that suspended position.”Among the Jukari signature moves is the “Swing to Straddle Jump” which is actually considered a cardio movement that works on your legs, lats and biceps; the “Lunge with Kick” which works out on your legs and core; the “Hanging Carousel to Straddle” which targets your abductors, lats and abdominals; the “Mountain Climber to Pike” which works chest, triceps, shoulders and core; the “Swing to Tuck Jump” which works on your leg muscles; and the “Mixed Grip Pull-up with Kick” which works the chest, back and legs.

Reebok and Cirque du Soleil claims that both the potential variation of exercises for Jukari Fit to Fly and the benefits it could bring to your body are endless. So, what are you waiting for? Check out the nearest Jukari Fit to Fly classes being offered in your area to swing out those pounds as you also relive those fun childhood memories of playing on a swing!

I am really interested in Jukari, I live in Ashford Kent.
Is there any way I can hear of any classes?

I also live in Ashford, kent and very keen on a Jukari class… Can you please advise where we can book them?

Jukari is only offered in major cities so the best option for those looking for this dynamic type workout is to look for aerial dance classes that feature the single point trapeze. Very popular right now. You can also train at home with a TRX. I do both and highly recommend both.

I would like to offer this in my gym, what are the ceiling heights requirements? I have TRX without any trouble but what is the minimum ceiling height for jukari set up?
